About the event

This is a three day training class that covers the fundamentals of the Mastercam’s Multi-axis toolpaths.

Agenda:

This class will focus on the difference between multi-axis positioning and simultaneous toolpaths. Five axis terminology will be discussed during this class such as DWO, TCP, and Vector definitions. Users will work with multiple file formats while organizing geometry to create specific toolpaths in hard-to-reach areas. Users will also learn how to utilize these 5-axis toolpaths to avoid and check for collisions with the model, fixture, vices, and clamps while optimizing the toolpath. Techniques and tips will be discussed and used in this class. Users will also gain valuable experience with the New Unified 5-axis toolpath to streamline programming.

FASTech provides computers, Mastercam licenses and lunch each day.
